FINAL PEARL POST
I really enjoyed this experience. I had never gotten to run an experiment with animals before and truly loved it. I enjoyed getting to take care of her as well as training. It became one of the things I always brought up with my family and friends. I even brought it up to a potential new member during sorority recruitment. One challenge was choosing a partner before discussing school schedules because it was very difficult for me and my partner, but we ended up figuring it all out! I was genuinely surprised with how fast Pearl caught onto the pressing of the lever and how many times she would within 30 minutes. I did not think all the experiments would be able to fully happen within such a short time frame. I was very shocked about how comfortable i became with holding and working with Pearl as well. I loved getting to train her and get to take care of her as well.
